Schoolwork FTW 8DD
This is my final piece for this term's art theme - Gardens. I studied Hokusai, Monet and Botticelli as well as Disney and chose to do a study of females in nature. This led me to studying Greek goddesses naturally, and Botticelli's Primavera Flora was the direct inspiration =] That and Fantasia 2000's Firebird animation  So this is the result, a painting that I modelled for, with tons of false flowers and a random scarf  The skin and hair was done in watercolours, all flowers and foliage were done in gouache  Best canvas painting I've ever completed  |
